Job Responsibilities
  • To prioritize the needs of individuals supported by NEXUS Community Support Society, working collaboratively in team and individual environments.
  • To develop and facilitate opportunities aligned with the needs and goals of individuals and their support networks.
  • To promote community inclusion in various settings, fostering connections within our community and surrounding areas.
  • To maintain accurate documentation, outlining individual success, needs, and required support.
  • To participate in meetings, training sessions, and service planning as necessary.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 (or better) driver's license, with a driver's abstract required.
  • Related experience working with adults with diverse abilities is considered an asset.
  • Basic computer skills and physical ability to perform duties as required.
  • First Aid (Level 1) certification.
  • Criminal record check will be performed by NEXUS upon hire.
