Position Overview:

The Support Worker will:

  • Collaborate effectively within a team or independently, prioritizing the needs of the individuals served by NEXUS.
  • Design and implement opportunities tailored to individual aspirations and requirements.
  • Encourage community participation across diverse environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation reflecting individual progress and support necessities.
  • Track and manage financial records related to program activities.
  • Engage in meetings, training sessions, and service planning initiatives.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Possess a valid class 5 (or superior) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with adults who have diverse abilities is considered advantageous.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the physical capability to perform job duties.
  • First Aid (Level 1) certification is required.
  • A criminal background check will be conducted by NEXUS.
