Position Overview:The Support Worker will play a vital role in collaborating with both teams and individuals, focusing on the unique needs of those supported by NEXUS.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate effectively in both team-oriented and individual settings, prioritizing the needs of individuals receiving support.
- Design and implement opportunities tailored to individual aspirations and requirements.
- Encourage community involvement across various environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation reflecting individual progress and support necessities.
- Track financial records related to program needs.
- Engage in meetings, training sessions, and service planning activities.
- Carry out additional related tasks as necessary.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Possess a valid class 5 (or superior) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with adults with diverse abilities is considered advantageous.
- Basic computer proficiency and the physical capability to perform job duties.
- First Aid (Level 1) certification is required.
- A criminal record check will be conducted by NEXUS.
