Job Title: Hotel Managing Supervisor–>

The Castle Rock Country Inn is seeking a skilled Hotel Managing Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, including managing staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of customer service.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinating activities with other work units or departments: You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.



  • Establishing work schedules and procedures: You will develop and implement effective schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations and high productivity.



  • Preparing and submitting reports: You will provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators, staff performance, and customer feedback.



  • Coordinating, assigning, and reviewing work: You will oversee the work of subordinate staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality performance.



  • Maintaining operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery: You will ensure that all systems and equipment are in good working order, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.



  • Requisitioning materials and supplies: You will manage inventory levels and procure necessary materials and supplies to ensure effective operations.



  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns: You will provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.



  • Training or assisting in the training of other workers: You will provide on-the-job training and guidance to new staff members to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.



  • Taking, canceling, and changing room reservations: You will manage room reservations, ensuring that all requests are processed accurately and efficiently.



  • Receiving and recording bookings for package tours: You will coordinate with tour operators to ensure that all bookings are processed correctly and efficiently.



  • Providing information on hotel facilities and services: You will provide guests with information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.



  • Providing information regarding features of rooms, service of hotel, and points of interest: You will provide guests with detailed information on hotel rooms, services, and local attractions.



  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for daily operations: You will work with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure effective operations and high standards of customer service.



  • Assisting clients with check-in procedures for accommodation and/or transportation: You will provide guests with assistance during check-in procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.



Requirements:



  • Education: College/CEGEP



  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years



  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook



  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Work under pressure



  • Personal suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Initiative, Interpersonal awareness, Judgement, Organized, Team player
