We are an equal opportunity employer and a leading resort operator in the Canadian Rockies. We are seeking a skilled sales team lead to join our team at Fernie Alpine Resort.

As a sales team lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leadership to our sales team. You will assist guests in booking lessons and ensure they have an unforgettable mountain experience.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, strong customer service skills, and a positive attitude. They will be physically fit and enjoy working in an outdoor mountain environment.

The duties of this role include:

  • Leadership and staff management skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Providing a culture of sales and service
  • Weekly staff schedules and payroll sign-offs
  • Daily crew talks
  • Mid-season evaluations for all WSS sales staff
  • Day-to-day functions of staff on tasks

You will also have the following responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent front-facing customer service in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Creating an atmosphere of relationship building for guests at initiation of sales and inquiry process
  • Communicating with guests to find the best program for them
  • Dealing with any guest issues that may arise in a professional and courteous manner
  • Supervising and overseeing all telephone, email information and sales requests
  • Having or developing an excellent understanding of WSS product and philosophies on how to sell each product

This role requires excellent communication, organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills. You should also have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
