Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Melt Wich Food Co. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Supervise and Coordinate Food PreparationOversee and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Recruit and Manage StaffRecruit and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional customer service.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet our high-quality control standards, consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Prepare Budgets and ReportsPrepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates, to inform business decisions.
Address Customer ConcernsAddress customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring we maintain a positive reputation.
Maintain Records and ReportsMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Prepare Food Order SummariesPrepare and submit food order summaries for our chef, ensuring we have the necessary information to deliver exceptional dishes.
Culinary Knowledge and ExpertiseHave a deep understanding of our culinary genres, ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations.
Supervise and Check Assembly of TraysSupervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring they are presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
Supervise and Check Delivery of Food TrolleysSupervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring they are delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner.
Establish Work SchedulesEstablish and manage work schedules, ensuring we have the necessary staff in place to meet customer demand.
