Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Melt Wich Food Co. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience is positive and memorable.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that the department is operating within budget.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Team Management: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and other key tasks to ensure that they are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 36 hours per week.
