Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Melt Wich Food Co. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Supervise and Coordinate Food PreparationOversee and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Recruit and Manage StaffRecruit and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet our high-quality control standards, consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Prepare and Manage ReportsPrepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Communicate with CustomersAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
About You- Experience
1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
EducationCollege, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
LanguageFluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment36 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
