Director of Industry Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Industry Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with industry leaders to enhance student employment opportunities and provide exceptional industry-relevant training and continuing education.
Key Responsibilities- Foster and maintain strong relationships with industry partners to create mutually beneficial opportunities for students and employers.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase student employment and Co-op job opportunities through partnerships with industry leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver industry-relevant training and continuing education programs.
- Manage and negotiate contracts and agreements with industry partners to ensure compliance with Sheridan's policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and developments to inform partnership development and program design.
- 7 years of professional experience in employer relations in higher education or work-integrated learning.
- Significant experience in program management, marketing, strategic planning, public relations, and supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading mid-large projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in event planning and program management.
- Experience with report-writing, correspondence, and presentations.
- Certificate or completed courses in Project Management, Sales/Business Development, and/or Relationship Management.
