Director of Industry Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Industry and Professional Engagement. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team that is at the forefront of academic innovation and industry connections.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Innovate: Develop and implement strategies that enhance Sheridan's industry partnerships and provide students with access to top-tier employment, Co-op, and Work-Integrated Learning opportunities.
- Negotiate and Collaborate: Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, ensuring our students are connected with leading employers and industry leaders.
- Team Leadership: Guide a talented team of professionals in employer relations, job development, and business development.
- Marketing and Business Development: Develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives to position Sheridan as a leader in industry engagement.
- Relationship Management: Foster ethical, reciprocal relationships between Sheridan and industry partners, ensuring mutual growth and success.
We are looking for a highly organized, self-directed, and resourceful leader with exceptional networking capabilities and a proven track record of building relationships and partnerships. You should have a strong understanding of cultural diversity and the needs of special populations, as well as the ability to create safe, brave, and inclusive environments.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline, and at least 7 years of professional experience in employer relations in higher education or work-integrated learning.
