Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and other relevant data.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
