**Overview of the Position:**

We are seeking a skilled Sales Growth Specialist to join our team at MSI. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and developing relationships with fabricators and K&B's, as well as retailer/dealer networks within an assigned geographic territory.

**Job Summary:**

The Sales Growth Specialist will focus on expanding sales and margins of MSI's countertop products while also promoting the Tile product lines. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to understand market competition and position products effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Relationship Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers within the assigned territory.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide training and support to store personnel to ensure they can effectively present and negotiate MSI products.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Display Management: Manage displays, samples, and selling tools to ensure customer availability.
  • Retail Business Acumen: Analyze retail business financials to provide consulting services on pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI to dealers.
  • Sales Operations: Quote prices, prepare sales contracts, estimate delivery dates, and review sales reports to identify sales potential.
  • Marketing Support: Utilize marketing tools such as catalogs, brochures, and vendor collateral to promote MSI products and expand reach in the territory.
  • Customer Service: Investigate and resolve customer claims, complaints, and issues related to deliveries, returns, and credits.

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in channel distribution sales
  • Minimum 2 years of related industry experience in natural stone, slab, or hard flooring industries
  • Strong math skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
