Company Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced heavy equipment operator to join our team as a metal fabrication specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment machinery, including welding, flame-cutting, and bending machines, to fabricate and repair metal parts and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together;
  • Use flame-cutting equipment to cut through metal;
  • Operate bending machines to shape and bend metal into desired forms;
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications;
  • Determine weldability of materials;
  • Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line;
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication and heavy equipment operation;
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments;
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail;
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in fast-paced environments;
  • Willingness to relocate and adapt to changing work conditions.
