Job Overview

This role is responsible for performing repairs on spray equipment at our store or customers' job sites. The ideal candidate will have prior experience repairing spray and/or hydraulic pumps and equipment, as well as excellent communication skills to educate other employees and customers on equipment usage.

The successful candidate will be able to maintain an inventory of spray parts, support sales efforts, and provide exceptional customer service.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs on all types of spray equipment (e.g. airless, conventional, electrostatic, pressure washers.) at the store or at customers' job sites
  • Conduct hydraulic and warranty repairs
  • Rebuild pumps
  • Repair branch tinting and mixing equipment
  • Educate other employees and customers on spray equipment
  • Maintain an inventory of spray parts
Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have prior work experience repairing spray and/or hydraulic pumps and equipment
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English

About the Location

This role will be based at Store #8858, located at: 15 SHELDON DR, UNIT 6, CAMBRIDGE, ON N1R 6R8. While we encourage applicants from all areas, relocation assistance may not be available for this role.
