Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Ryder System. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment vehicles. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with heavy equipment vehicles.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching. We also offer paid time off and holidays.
