Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Wasaga Petro Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize returns and exchanges, and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a retail environment with a dynamic and supportive team. The work schedule will be 30 to 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
