Key Responsibilities
- • Oversee kitchen staff and ensure efficient food preparation and service
- • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account nutritional value, flavor, and presentation
- • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage food costs
- • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
- • Develop and implement new menu items and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- • Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute events and buffets
- • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in food preparation and presentation
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Certification from a recognized culinary institution or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a senior chef role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
