Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Event Marketing Manager to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and managing a team of event marketers to build brand awareness and generate sales leads throughout your designated local market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute event-based marketing initiatives to drive sales leads for follow-up by our sales representatives.
  • Plan and schedule events for a team of event marketers in your assigned territory, ensuring effective budgeting and staffing.
  • Collaborate with local Sales Operations and Installation Managers to grow our presence within the local market.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, establishing clear goals and KPIs for accountability.
  • Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven experience in event marketing or a related field, with a focus on lead generation and experiential marketing.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel within your assigned territory as needed.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
  • Previous management experience in direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Experience in home improvement event marketing.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and individualized career development programs.
