Position Summary:
As a key member of our store leadership team, you will work closely with the District Manager and store staff to drive business success.
Your primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with customer service standards, operating policies, and applicable laws.
You will also lead the store in achieving operational efficiencies, revenue goals, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with all store team members, prioritizing professionalism, timeliness, thoroughness, and proactivity.
- People Management: Oversee the development and implementation of performance improvement plans for underperforming team members, while recognizing and rewarding strong performers within the assigned region.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with store staff to resolve issues proactively and report unresolved matters to the District Manager for support.
- Accountability: Ensure the store team adheres to company standards and is held accountable for non-compliance.
- Job Knowledge: Understand and administer operational and HR policies, ensuring compliance among all store team members.
- Quality: Set high expectations for exceptional customer service, holding team members accountable for measurable results.
- Push For Results: Drive business success through effective use of internal reports, retail results assessments, and SMART Goals directly geared towards team member skills development, profitability, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Teamwork: Work with the District Manager to develop retail sales goals and action plans tied to measurable results and timely execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a retail manager
- 3-5 years of experience supervising and/or leading people
- 3-5 years of experience working in a retail environment (Food Retail experience an asset)
- Understanding of business management fundamentals
- Post-secondary certificate in business or related field an asset
- Able to lift 50lbs or more as required by the business
- Must have both POS and cash handling experience
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
