Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator at Fed Supply, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global shipping and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Inventory Management: Collaborate with the shipping and inventory team to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Freight Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, truckers, and shipyards to make bookings in accordance with sales contracts.
  • Booking Management: Manage bookings in compliance with contractual shipping requirements, including Incoterm, packaging, weight restrictions, container size, etc.
  • Shipping Process Coordination: Coordinate the entire shipping process, including booking, electronic manifest, bills of lading, and freight invoices.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and approve shipping documents for export, verifying accuracy and performing data entry.
  • Load Photos: Obtain and provide load photos for all shipments, as requested by customers.
  • Export Declarations: Create B13/AES export declarations for Canadian and U.S. exports.
  • Correspondence Management: Digitally record all correspondence and relevant documents.
  • Communication: Handle a high volume of correspondence with divisions, overseas offices, customers, and transportation service providers.

Requirements: This role requires excellent coordination and communication skills, as well as a passion for logistics and supply chain management.
