Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Ceva Logistics. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for managing regional and country bookings, allocating space with ocean carriers, and coordinating with global sea freight teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage regional and country bookings, including virtual carrier and OPTIM tool updates and maintenance.
  • Allocate space with ocean carriers according to negotiated agreements and contracts.
  • Develop and maintain allocation cards using the DMP OPTIM tool.
  • Reference updated lists of ocean freight contracts and space allocations provided by the supervisor.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure proper communication and allocation of space agreements with ocean carriers.
  • Establish close relationships with management for carrier allocations and monitor daily fulfillment of allocations versus bookings.
  • Use defined tools to monitor daily fulfillment of allocations versus bookings and coordinate with sales teams and controlling offices to define proper allocation lists to support business growth.
  • Escalate to supervisor in case of loading disputes and when arbitrage is needed.
  • Support offices and controlling offices to communicate with ocean carriers in case of allocation non-honor.
  • Conduct regular meetings with TPC supervisor and develop and work under SOPs in a lean and streamlined process.
  • Collect and share market intelligence.
  • Provide daily reports to share daily fulfillments with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or experience, minimum two-three years of related experience.
  • Good skills in using Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
  • Good process execution skills.
  • Good communication and influencing skills.
  • Good English level.
  • Able to work under stress to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
