Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Policy, Vice President to join our Executive Leadership Team. This critical role will oversee both PHL and Cowan Insurance Group, driving strategic decision-making and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant legal work experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm. They will possess exceptional skill in legal drafting, time management, and organizational skills, with experience handling multiple priorities and requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the President and COO, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the business, including executive ownership of Information Security, property management, and general legal matters.
- You will lead the development and implementation of corporate policies, focusing on investments, HR, IT, and employee relations.
- Your expertise will be essential in managing risks, ensuring compliance with changing legal requirements, and maintaining best practices in data security.
- You will collaborate closely with the HR department to develop policies and procedures related to health and safety, employee relations, and whistle-blower channels.
- You will also work with the CIG Director, Compliance and Quality Assurance, to drive quality assurance initiatives and ensure ongoing reporting.

- Demonstrated superior skill in legal drafting, including agreements and contracts.
- Superior organizational and time management skills with experience handling multiple priorities and requests.
