Cowan Insurance Group is seeking a skilled Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our Personal Insurance Department. This role reports to the Manager, Personal Insurance, and involves providing exceptional service to our Personal Insurance customers and markets. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in the personal lines insurance industry, with expertise in policies, products, and customer service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing coverage reviews and recommendations
  • Service of personal lines insurance products
  • Developing existing client accounts

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of insurance experience
  • RIBO license required
  • CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards) would be an asset
  • Experience with EPIC would be an asset
  • Strong customer service and caring attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates sound judgement, ethics, and integrity
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast-paced environment
