Job Summary

The Clinical Operations Manager will oversee the clinical programs at EHN Sandstone Recovery Centre, specializing in care for adolescents and young adults with eating disorders. This role is responsible for managing the team, ensuring excellent patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and Nurse Practitioner
* Monitor patients' health condition and respond to changes in status
* Maintain accurate documentation according to EHN Canada and Documentation Practice Standards
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
* Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
* Oversee and delegate tasks to other nursing staff, as appropriate
* Assist with nursing education, training, and mentoring of new nursing staff
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements
* Current registration, in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses
* Holds a BScN
* BLS & CPR trained
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, practice standards, and best practice guidelines as outlined by the College of Nurses
* Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience preferred with experience in addictions and mental health
* Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with electronic medical records preferred
* Excellent organizational skills
