ServiceNow Configuration Management (CMDB) Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Configuration Management (CMDB) Specialist to join our team at Ward Technology Talent. As a key member of our IT Service Management team, you will be responsible for leading the IT Service Management processes and driving IT efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business functions across the organization to build their service management practice and service delivery model.
  • Lead the IT Service Management processes in close collaboration with other ITSM Specialists to drive IT efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement implementation plans, ensuring all technical and non-technical resources are in place for a successful implementation and management.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of the processes and research best practices to improve them.
  • Establish and meet key performance indicators and provide recommendations for continual improvement to senior management.
  • Serve as a primary and backup focal for one or more of the following processes: Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Request Management.

Requirements:

  • Certification in ITIL 3 Service Operation or ITIL 4 Create, Deliver & Support.
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow CMDB Administration and Asset Management.
  • 5+ years' experience leading and managing ITSM processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow is a must.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of business analysis and planning process.
  • Project management capabilities.
