ServiceNow – Configuration Management (CMDB) Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance their service management practices and optimize service delivery frameworks.
  • Oversee IT Service Management workflows in partnership with fellow ITSM experts to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive implementation strategies, ensuring the availability of all essential resources for effective execution and oversight.
  • Regularly assess process performance and investigate leading practices proactively.
  • Set and meet key performance metrics while providing enhancement recommendations to upper management.
  • Serve as the primary and secondary point of contact for multiple processes, including Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, and Request Management.

Essential Qualifications

  • ITIL 3 Service Operation or ITIL 4 Create, Deliver & Support certification.
  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow CMDB Administration and Asset Management.
  • More than 5 years of experience in leading and managing ITSM processes.
  • Proven expertise in ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Prior experience in vendor and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with business analysis and planning methodologies.
  • Project management skills.
