Territory Account Manager

About the Role
Kohl & Frisch Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Account Manager to promote our programs to independent retail pharmacies in Quebec, resulting in increased market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Share Growth: Make recommendations and provide ongoing feedback for growing Kohl & Frisch's market share in the independent market.
- New Business Development: Recruit new independent pharmacies/customers and provide update reporting on the progression of ongoing leads.
- Account Management: Provide account management and facilitate issue resolution by collaborating with internal departments.
- Customer Solutions: Offer new or alternative programs/solutions based on customer needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain strong industry/market knowledge; identify changes in the competitive landscape.
- Customer Relationship Management: Utilize CRM to manage and maximize customer relationships by updating the customer records.
- Compliance and Profitability: Ensure that all primary accounts in the Quebec territory are adhering to compliance, are profitable and provided with effective support purchase metrics.
- Secondary Accounts: Monitor all secondary accounts for potential growth, minimum volume thresholds, and profitability.
- Call Cycle: Maintain a consistent call cycle with all accounts within your designated territory.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Completion of undergraduate university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry Experience: Experience selling generic pharmaceuticals, wholesale services, and/or banner products to independent pharmacies is preferred.
- Years of Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
Qualifications
- Reimbursement and Banner Models: Solid understanding of pharmacy reimbursement and various banner/program models considered an asset.
- Business Acumen: Strong business/financial acumen.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional bilingual communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Industry Trends: Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies to respond to changes in the marketplace.
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers as well as internal partners.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 50%.
- Salesforce Experience: Salesforce experience is an asset.
