Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient counseling and education on new therapies while tailoring to individual needs and concerns.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation.
  • Collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Identify actual and potential drug-related problems through medication reviews.
  • Monitor medication adherence and ensure prescription safety.
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent health and wellness services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a pharmacist in Nova Scotia.
  • Injection and First Aid Certification.
  • Kroll software experience is an asset.
