Located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Health Authority's Dartmouth General Hospital is an acute care facility offering a range of medical services. The hospital has 187 inpatient beds and 8 intensive care unit beds.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Professional to join our team as a Hospitalist. This role will provide direct patient care for patients admitted to the hospitalist service at Dartmouth General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care for patients admitted to the hospitalist service
  • Ensure timely notification and consultation with patients regarding results
  • Coordinate care with members of the interprofessional team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and maintaining competence
What We Offer

This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible schedule, including two weeks on/two weeks off or one week on/one week off. You will also participate in weekend call (1:4 for full-time) and overnight call (2 shifts/month for full-time).
