Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at HLT Construction Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies and programs that support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs that align with our company's goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Plan and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of our organization
  • Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures to enhance the overall HR function
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities
Work Environment
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language required
