Key Responsibilities:- Human Resources Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of human resources policies and programs.
- Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
- Recruitment and Hiring: Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of recruitment strategies, as well as the administration of benefit employment equity and other human resources programs.
- Employee Performance and Appraisal: Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, ensuring that employees receive regular feedback and coaching.
- Employee Relations: Respond to employee questions and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist in recruiting and hiring newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
- Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
