Job Summary:

ABB is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR expertise and guidance in the areas of HR & business strategy, culture change, organization design, leadership coaching, succession/pipeline planning, talent assessment/engagement. The successful candidate will establish credibility as a strategic partner, playing a consultative role to employees, managers, and leaders to manage growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement the people, culture and organization strategies in line with the local Business Area.
Oversee the implementation of HR processes within areas of responsibilities requiring on-site support and follow up.
Work with local leadership to maintain positive relationship with employees; ensuring ABB's policies are applied.
Support managers in the implementation and follow up on performance management activities including performance improvement, oversight on the performance appraisal process, and training identification needs, and succession planning.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years related experience in a similar role with unionized staff.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to travel up to 5%.
