We are currently searching for a HR Generalist to join our team.

In this multifaceted role, you will support managers and employees by providing bilingual HR services and promoting employee engagement, professional development, a positive culture, and adherence to employment laws, policies, and regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Partnering with managers in developing HR strategies, priorities, policies, programs, and initiatives that help the company to achieve its business objectives.
- Coordinating and executing recruitment, including collaborating with managers to identify staffing needs, developing, and posting job ads, screening resumes, interviewing, making hiring recommendations, and managing new hire onboarding and training.
- Supporting managers with employee performance management, performance reviews, discipline, and analyzing performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Leading employee relations and serving as a primary contact for employee inquiries, concerns, guidance, support, investigations, mediation, and issue resolution.
- Administering employee benefits programs and wellness initiatives, including coordinating with providers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Identifying training needs based on performance evaluations and organizational objectives, recommending developmental opportunities, and collaborating with managers to support employee development plans and career progression.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks, and optimize HR workflows and procedures.
- Managing day-to-day tactical HR administrative tasks (i.e. updating employee files, compliance documentation, etc.).
- Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
- CNESST administration and coordination of employee health and safety training and certification.
- Assist CEO with daily tasks

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- CHRP certification is an asset.
- Must be fluently bilingual (English and French, oral and written).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Must be a strategic thinker and detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
