Business Development Manager - Industrial

Based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan Territory

About the Company: Our client is a proud leader in the Canadian Construction and Industrial Sectors. They support their customer partners by providing engineering assistance for product selection through a Sales & Support Team that deliver local hands-on Job-Site training and are backed by a reliable supply chain built with a history of quality manufacturing and strong distribution network.

The Role: We are looking for a Home-based Territory Sales Manager to join their team to work across the Manitoba & Saskatchewan Territory to develop relationships with stakeholders including Engineering, Design, Safety and Trades of End-Users and Distributors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects at both end-user and within the distribution levels.
  • Assist the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Conduct regular presentations to engineering firms to enhance brand recognition and increase sales.
  • Provide training and technical support to the field sales team and customers, including engineers and end users, as needed.
  • Foster relationships with both existing and potential customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and engaging in professional networks.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of competitive products, advantages/disadvantages, and pricing models.
  • Monitor and oversee opportunities through the company's CRM system.
  • Quickly adapt to new challenges and take on additional responsibilities when needed.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience within an industrial setting.
  • Proven ability to find success hunting new business in the construction industry.
  • Able to develop key stakeholder relationships, both with end-users and distributors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
