Forensic Assertive Community Treatment Team

We are seeking a skilled Family Practitioner to join our team as a Community Healthcare Specialist. This exciting opportunity is part of the provincial mental health services continuum, providing specialized care to adults across British Columbia.

The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic and comprehensive services to clients with enhanced care needs involved in the criminal justice system. Based in Surrey, this role will support specific clients living in the community.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering quality care to clients, helping them reintegrate into their communities. Our new model of care offers a supportive environment where you can grow your expertise as a Primary Care Practitioner from day one.

This challenging and rewarding position involves working with patients across a broad spectrum of psychiatric illness, substance use disorders, and personality difficulties. A background in correctional health and/or additional certification or training would be an asset.

To succeed in this role, you must be eligible for provisional or full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) and hold certification with the College of Family Physicians or equivalent.

Based on industry standards and the location, we estimate the salary for this position to be approximately $**$180,000 - $220,000 per year**, depending on experience.
