Our mission is to enhance the lives of Canadians through a diverse range of dairy products, including Black Diamond Cheese, Lactantia Milk, Astro Yogurt, Balderson Cheese, and Cheestrings.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, we have a Performance-Based Bonus System in place, providing opportunities for growth and recognition.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels within our organization.
  • Cycle Counts: Perform regular cycle counts of inventory items according to the established schedule.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize inventory management software or manual counting methods to accurately record inventory levels.
  • Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate and resolve discrepancies between actual inventory counts and recorded inventory levels.
  • Process Improvement: Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory data to identify trends and provide recommendations for optimizing inventory levels and minimizing carrying costs.
  • Warehouse Management: Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse space to maximize storage capacity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Post-Secondary Education: A degree in a related field or equivalent warehouse experience.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint) and SAP or other WMS systems.
