Job Title: Inventory CoordinatorWe are seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Oshawa, Ontario. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels within our organization.
About the OpportunityYour primary responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring the availability of products to meet customer demand. You will also be responsible for analyzing inventory data to identify trends, providing recommendations for optimizing inventory levels and minimizing carrying costs, and developing strategies for managing excess inventory or shortages.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent warehouse experience
- Two years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong initiative and decision-making skills to identify and solve problems in a timely and effective manner
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated commitment to development and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with standard programs including Microsoft Office, WMS, and SAP software
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
