Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our culinary offerings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or resort setting.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
