About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MJ BYRNES IRISH PUB INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the high standards of our customers.

Chef Management

Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.

Food Safety and Quality

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.

Staff Training and Development

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that all kitchen staff have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.

Requirements
  • Education

Diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a head chef or senior chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Skills

Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on menu planning, food safety, and inventory management.

Personal Qualities

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
