About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Winifred's English Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our commitment to using only the freshest ingredients.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards for food quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of all kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure that we are always stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary environment, and that our high standards for food quality are consistently met.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all menu items are prepared to order and that our customers receive prompt and friendly service.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
