About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mcewan Enterprises Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment that meets all health and safety regulations.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control food costs to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve high standards of quality and service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
