Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at strEATS West Lethbridge Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and develop kitchen staff in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Food Preparation and Quality Control
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety, meeting our company's quality control standards.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our kitchen operations.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
