We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at strEATS West Lethbridge Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective kitchen procedures to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, ensuring that all food meets our quality control standards.
- Manage inventory and supplies, estimating requirements and maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
