Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at strEATS West Lethbridge Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Team Management: Establish work schedules, supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, and maintain a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with physically demanding tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Permanent Employment: A stable and secure work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
