About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at strEATS West Lethbridge Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Management: Establish work schedules, supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, and maintain a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with physically demanding tasks and attention to detail.
