We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Frankie's Italian Kitchen & Bar Winnipeg Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
- Prepare and cook food to meet quality standards, including for special guests and functions.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement menus that meet customer expectations.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safe food handling practices and maintain relevant certifications.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 35-40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
