Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a People & Culture Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, managing employee data, and providing critical support to hiring managers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Welcome newly hired employees and execute the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey
* Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles
* Craft and send communication with information about the company, onboarding agenda, equipment handover, dress code, parking options, perks, and similar items
* Ensure new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware/software and distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines, as needed
* Occasionally host onboarding sessions
* Enter and audit data and set up employee profiles in internal HR systems
* Data entry to ensure all existing employee files are up to date
* Align new employees with managers and their team and communicate involvement procedures to all stakeholders
* Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees
* Provide reporting and project updates to team lead and/or senior management
* Ensure compliance with all processes and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
* General filing and record keeping of employee files
* Assist the Recruitment and Retention Manager on various projects, including involvement in the Wellness Committee

Requirements:

* 3 years + of work experience in a similar position or College/University in HR or related field
* 2 years + working in the hospitality sector
* Knowledge and understanding of employee relations
* Excellence in organizational skills
* Energetic person with strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening
* Successfully manage multiple priorities with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high-quality results
* High attention to detail is a must
* Engage in a service mindset and passion to serve our employees as we would our guests
* Adjust to ever-changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong team player with a results-driven approach and who can work with limited guidance
* Very strong work ethic (reliable) with \"can do\" and collaborative attitude
