Student Assistant

Vancouver Community College is seeking a Student Aide to perform elementary clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have basic oral and written English proficiency and be registered as a VCC student.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform basic clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and preparing files.
- Assist with basic tasks on a computer, including simple data entry.
- Perform basic duties in a library or bookstore, including shelving books and taking inventory.
- Carry out basic housekeeping tasks in classrooms or labs.
- Assist with the routine distribution of equipment and supplies.
- May be asked to make routine telephone calls.
- May act as an usher or direct foot traffic at College functions.
- Basic oral and written English proficiency.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Basic clerical ability and ability to use elementary office appliances and equipment.
- Basic computer experience.
