About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Electrical Sales Representative to join our team at E.B. Horsman & Son. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, interpreting customer needs, and recommending products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service Oriented: Maintain and build customer relationships through product quotations and sales.
  • Detail Oriented: Generate, modify, and check sales orders and accurately fill out applicable documentation.
  • Communicator: Develop strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.
  • Organized: Manage a high volume of customer requests and adjust to interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technologically Savvy: Utilize our POS system and other technology to efficiently complete tasks.
Requirements
  • Electrical Distribution Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to use upper body full range of motion for wire cutting and hauling.
  • Previous Industry Experience: An asset, but not required.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills with the ability to calculate simple equations mentally.
  • Computer Skills: Beginner computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new software.
  • Product Knowledge: Wide range of expertise in the products and services provided by E.B. Horsman & Son.
