The Customer Service Representative - Counter Sales is a key position within our team at E.B. Horsman & Son. As the primary point of contact for incoming branch customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by interpreting customer needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring order accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
- Order Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders, including generating and modifying sales orders and filling out applicable documentation.
- Communication: Develop strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.
- Organization: Maintain a high level of organization to manage multiple customer requests and adjust to changing priorities.
- Technical Skills: Utilize our POS system and other technology to efficiently process customer transactions.
- Electrical Distribution Experience: Previous experience in electrical distribution or counter sales is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to use upper body full range of motion for wire cutting and hauling.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills with the ability to calculate simple equations mentally.
- Computer Skills: Beginner computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new software.
- Product Knowledge: Wide range of expertise in the products and services provided by E.B. Horsman & Son.
